Background

 

 

my name is Peter Davy and I have been involved in the Heating Industry for 33 years, the last 30 having Susan by my side.

Originally the business started in Wellington, Hutt City and Porirua with both my Dad  and Brother  and later brother-in-law  all been involved in Chimney Sweeping, Fire-place Repairs and Installations.

In 2004 after 2 years in Australia Peter returned and extended the business to cover the Wairarapa and Palmerston North

In August 2008 Peter and Sue took over the Accelerant Wood Fire Shop in Featherston. At that time Peter gained the rights to the Wairarapa Wellington and Palmerston North to sell the Pyroclassic 1V Wood-burner

In March 2009 Peter and Susan were accepted as a Service Provider for EECA,  Energy Efficiency Conservation Authority and became part of the Energy Wise Warm up New Zealand program. As part of the program Peter’s Team now Installs Ceiling and Under-floor Insulation and Wood-fires and can save you money by providing Government Subsidies towards them. This means Peter has the only Heating Shop in Wellington, Wairarapa and Kapiti that can offer subsidies towards your next fireplace saving you between $500 and $1200
