Our History

Davy Heating was started in 1978 by Peter Davy, making us one of the longest established heating businesses in the local area. Peter’s father, brother, and brother in law worked in the business for several years before moving to Australia.

Today, Davy Heating has skilled and experienced technicians who operated in the company’s target areas.

The Clubb Hotel

Peter and his wife Susan bought the Clubb Hotel in Carterton after a fire in 2009. The hotel has a long history, having been built in 1888. It was previously damaged in a fire in 1900.

Peter has been working to restore the hotel and will soon reopen, offering rooms on a bed and breakfast basis. Earnings from Davy Heating fund the work being done to restore the hotel.
